About this package
Catalan cooking is built on the market, the sea and the vineyards inland, and this trip takes you to all three. You shop with a chef at a neighborhood market, cook a proper paella, spend a day among the cava cellars of the Penedès and taste honey and cheese at the foot of Montserrat.
Evenings are for the city: vermouth hour in the old town and a tapas crawl through El Born with our sommelier. You stay at Palau Arrel, a restored merchant’s palace a few minutes from the best food streets in Barcelona.
Day by day
Private transfer to Palau Arrel, then vermouth and conservas in a century-old bodega around the corner.
Shop for the day’s ingredients with a chef, then cook and share a seafood paella with crema catalana to finish.
A private drive to the Penedès for a cellar tour at a family-run cava house and a long lunch among the vines.
A morning at Montserrat with a local honey and cheese tasting, then the El Born tapas and sommelier evening.

Questions
Planning a package
Can I customize a package?
Yes. Every package is a starting point: we can add nights, swap a tour, upgrade your room or build in a day trip. Send your request and your planner will return an updated plan and price.
Are flights included?
No. Packages start and end in Barcelona and include private transfers from and to the airport or station. We are happy to suggest the most convenient arrival times.
How much deposit do packages need?
A 30% deposit holds your hotel and tours, and the balance is due 30 days before you arrive. If you book within 30 days of travel, the full amount is due at confirmation.
Can children join a package?
Of course. We adjust the pace, pick family rooms or connecting rooms and swap any adult-only activity for something the whole family will enjoy. Children under 12 get a reduced price on most tours.
What if my flight is delayed on the first day?
Your driver tracks your flight and waits, whatever the delay. If you miss the first afternoon’s tour, your planner will move it to another day of your trip where possible.
